Tenderloin Affordable Housing

An 8-story, 240-unit studio apartment community in the Tenderloin district, consisting of new buildings at 361 Turk St (pictured), and 145 Leavenworth St. The buildings contain over 3,000 SF of ground floor commercial space, and offer over half of the residential units at reduced rates. Developers were inspired by affordable-by-design residences that offer multi-purpose furniture to maximize space.

Project experience included construction documentation and plan check comment responses while working with a team of architects at Gensler.
