Bernal Heights Remodel

The Bernal Heights improvement involves a new exterior finish to a 100 year old residence. The interior is completely renovated, reclaiming garage space for the ground floor remodel.

The new ground floor closet gains light through pocket door openings to adjacent spaces. The new back yard door location allows the lower bedroom and bathroom more privacy & new windows. The new utility room redirects ducts to clear habitable spaces. A new laundry room provides additional garage & bike storage access, while utilizing space under the new interior stair to the upper level.

The upper level receives a full renovation, including a new dining room at the previous interior stair location. Part of the bathroom is allocated for a new shaft to run ducts in the ceiling. A new deck extends over the newly accessible back yard.
